Is anyone aware of any story in which Gyro is seen in his bare feet? According to his article on the Scrooge McDuck Wiki, he has human-like feet. However, I'm wondering if this is only speculation based on the fact that he wears human-like shoes. I know of at least one other character, Lena from DuckTales 2017, who wears human shoes but still has bird (duck in her case) feet, and I'm trying to determine whether this is also the case with Gyro.
BUT he does have ducky legs (and maybe feet?) in W DD 99-08.
And strangely enough, he was drawn that way THIS TIME by Tony Strobl, who had drawn Gyro with white, HUMAN feet, many times before that early mid '60s Donald Duck 99 story. Did he forget what he'd drawn before? Did his editor change Gyro's model just for one story and later change his mind? Just more proof that Western disrespected its "perceived" market for these comic books, they figured sales wouldn't be affected by inconsistencies, similar to their thinking that changing the colour scheme to unnatural and not matching what was in the backgrounds (which ruined the reading for me, and made me not want to read their books (EVEN those with Barks stories). Actually I preferred Gyro having bird feet. It makes more sense.
