Say, Matilda, since you're cataloging duck women, I was wondering, do you have any information on the characters called Wilma McDuck and Audree Duck on the famous Gilles Maurice family tree? I'm trying to find the sources for all the characters on the tree, but these two have proven by far the hardest to track down.
Keep in mind those might not be their original names.

A couple more one-shot female characters I've liked from stories I've read since I made the first post here, characters who are neither old women nor girlfriends:
Brenda, the orphan from The Orphan's Christmas (The Substitute Santa of Strathbungo)--true, this is a flashback, so she's "now" an old woman in Scotland! But in the context of the story, she's a girl with whom Scrooge has an adventure, and though he has sentimental feelings attached to the memory, I wouldn't call her primarily a girlfriend/romantic interest.
The girl in Maya Astrup's A Class Divided who becomes friends with the nephew who likes to draw. Can't find my copy right now, don't remember what she was called in German, but in any case, that's not what Astrup called her. Again, I'd say she's a girl with whom the nephew develops a friendship over a shared interest, not a girlfriend.
I have plans to bring back the evil lawyer, Vitriola Vultoure, as a regular menace to Scrooge, perhaps joining forces with others of his enemies. I have used Miss Quackfaster in several Scrooge stories, but always only in a few panels, handling secretarial duties. I should try to have an emergency situation putting Scrooge out of commission, giving her an opportunity to save Scrooge's situation, or make it significantly worse. She could save the situation from becoming a disaster, because of Donald's bumbling. Of course, I have used Grandma Duck being clever in several stories. I might find a way to use Scrooge's ex-ladyfriend, Clementine, as well.
OK, Rob, since they're one-shot characters and therefore not listed in INDUCKS' character list, you have to tell me which stories feature Vitriola Vultoure and Clementine Cadiddlehopper!

Thanks! I mentioned but didn't list all the girlfriend-of-continuing-male-characters characters. (Gyro's also had a girlfriend named Matilda!) Captain Annie is a fun, non-girlfriend character; she and Belle become friends in Roundabout Rally. Haven't seen the Brazilian stories with the Disney Teens or with Fethry's neighbors, or the S-coded ones with Eunice; thanks for those. And Denise Van Duck was in two different Duck Album comics here--haven't seen those, either. Crapulia? Now there's a name we couldn't use in the States!
Another female protagonist is Penny (called "Dinny" in the Dutch version), who is Scrooge's fiancé from his younger days, who left him because of his greed (not unlike what happened to Scrooge's namesake!) from this story: inducks.org/story.php?c=D+92148 . At the end of the story we learn that she's now the third richest duck in the world, As the owner of a successful worldwide fast food chain. Also, she went to "Witches' school" with Magica De Spell (I know, it's a little odd, but the story at least has somewhat of an explanation for it). The story is a little all over the place, but the character Penny/Dinny was pretty interesting.
