The new Donald Duck Weekblad this week has a 10-page story by me and Jan, about Donald's rivalry with his blusterous Neighbour Jones (Buurman Bolderbast), and Huey, Dewey and Louie get the best of both of them. Its title is "Strijd om de superslee" ("The Super Sled Contest"). This issue is a nice surprise for me, as it has a 2-page prikprent-style drawing by another of my work partners, Tim Artz, and the cover was drawn by an old friend of Jan's and mine, Ulrich Schröder. Not only is Jones in it, but Barks' Widow Umble's Kids make a return to Disney Comics.
The German version is called "A Sled for Shacktown". Is that from your script, placing the kids from WDC&S 196 in Shacktown, or is that something the translator came up with?

Cool! I hope to see this story some day. It would be nice to see Widow 'Umble's kids again, and I agree with rasterax that it made sense to have them living in Shacktown.
Rob: If you haven't noticed yet, your story D 2016-072 "The Skiing Veteran" (translated from the Norwegian title) is published in the North-European weeklies this and next week. At least in the German Micky Maus #9, Danish Anders And & Co #8, Norwegian Donald Duck & Co #9, Finnish Aku Ankka #8, and probably in the Sweedish Kalle Anka #8 or #9 too.
The D-coded stories are a bit slow on being added to the inducks database at the moment, so it might take a while to get the "Creator notification" they use to send out.

Thanks! I can't find any reference to that story in INDUCKS.
