I own the Uncle Scrooge/Donald Duck Timeless Tales books and I want more. I don't buy weekly comics, I prefer trade paperbacks. So I ask you, what Duck titles in TPB are IDWs best? Thanks!
Don't make me choose! I know it won't change everyone's minds, but some of the best IDW books have been the Mickey Mouse issues. If you're just reading the Duck books, you're missing some great stuff. But that's only my opinion. I know some Duck fans aren't "Mouseketeers", so take my opinion as you will.
You may want to look for the "Donald and Mickey" series of trades. These are either actual collections of Walt Disney Comics issues, or a similar mix of classic Disney characters (including the ducks).
Also, I recently enjoyed Mysterious Melody hardcover which has a cameo appearance of Donald (the bombastic Donald from the old animated cartoons).
If you get the Timeless Tales hardcovers there's no reason to get the Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge trade paperbacks from IDW as they have the same stories inside.
The stories in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories and the special issues from IDW are so far only collected in trade paperbacks under the "Donald and Mickey" logo. The exception is the "The Search for the Zodiac Stone" serial from WDC&S that's only collected in a hardcover and not in TPB's. So I recommend getting that hardcover and the "Donald and Mickey" TPB's.
But rumors say that hardcovers collecting stories from WDC&S are in planning too.
The Donald and Mickey Zodiac Stone book alternates between Mouse chapters and Duck chapters, although they meet up often at the beginning and end of chapters. Mickey's Craziest Adventures also features Donald and Uncle Scrooge, so Duck fans may want to pick that one up, too. Hopefully, we'll get the last two Glenat Disney comic albums at some point, or at the very least Cafe Zombo.

Gah! You mean these's doubt? I absolutely loved the first two.
