In that story a scientist friend of Mickey invented a time machine, and sent himself back to past. Somehow he created multiple copies of himself and disrupted the timeline of their world. One panel shows Mickey and another person ran along a sewer, and that person commented that the sewer looked pretty much like what had been built by Romans.
I read the last part of this story 15-17 years ago, and I always want to find the whole piece. Does anyone has any idea which story it is?
There's a long-running series of Italian comics where Mickey time-travels with the help of Marlin and Zapotec, two of his scientist friends. Were they the ones in this story?

I didn't consider the Italian Time Machine series since I thought you would have told us if it was part of a series, so I figured it was a standalone story. Well, at any rate it seems you found it.
If I can give you an advice: the next time you ask about a story, it is better if you give some other details, like the language you read it in (I don't remember from which country are you from). These additional details greatly hep a research, especially when using Inducks.

Thank you for you help! I DID think that was a standalone story, since it was published in a bi-monthly issue which, usually, only published standalone stories. Then I remembered they did have a history of publishing a series, though that was the only exception I knew. I read in Chinese, but that piece of information may not help a lot, since many years of records are missing: coa.inducks.org/issue.php?c=cn/MC2002-22 coa.inducks.org/issue.php?c=cn%2FMC2012-20 But of course, I should have mentioned that first!
Yes, the scientist is Doc Static (not Dr. Stat), and I'm pretty sure the story is "Time and Time Again".
That's it! By the way, we had a question for you about O'Hara on another thread…
True, but it turned out the O'Hara story we were discussing was written by Byron Erickson and not by David Gerstein, as I had wrongly written. Of course, there is still a chance that David knows the answer.
Nah. I remember it, too; the scientist was Dr Stat.
I remember it too, too—or think I do!

Ah yeah, (awkwardly admit) this one should be correct! Thankfully the record is intact on this page and I know I had the second issue but not the first one.
