Here are my current top five Magica stories that haven't been printed in English:
"Double or Nothing" Solstrand/Rota (the fact that the duplicates are perfect copies except that they smell like oregano cracks me up!) "Like a Bad Penny" Korhonen/Vicar "The Onion Rose" Janet Gilbert/Rodrigues (plus, fan-service! Barks appears as a character!) "Amelia e le due numero 1" Pandini/Martusciello "Zio Paperone e la meravigliosa vecchia ciabatta" Gentina/Ziche
I like that IDW is introducing new characters by printing stories with their first appearance or stories that works as an introduction to the characters (ex. Reginella, Garvey Gull, Ellroy, Duck Avenger, Dickie Duck) . But when they do I think they should follow up with more stories with the same character(s) too. Judging by the last Previews catalog it doesn't look like we'll get a "Giant Halloween Hex" this year. Last year's issue introduced Magica's family so I was hoping for a follow-up with "Amelia e la furia degli elementi" this year. Also the next one "Amelia e il segreto di Babbo Natale" could be used in a Christmas Parade or WDC&S around Christmas time. So I'm hoping to see those two stories in English in the future.
That's the ones that came to my mind right now. But Matilda's list above have great stories too!

I'd very much like to see some of the Magica/Madam Mim stories.
Also, if they ever start Brazilian stories, this story features Yen Sid going up against Magica and Mim, a premise which intrigues me. (This is in a similar vein, though there's no Magica.) This one features a meeting-up of witches, including Magica being introduced to her ancient predecessors Medea and Circe.
On the topic of Italian stories, I approve of the suggestion of Filtro del Passato. This story with Magica time-travelling and meeting Goldie also seems like a goodie.

The latter is the only one that I know of, unlike all other stories mentioned in this thread. It contains references to Barks and Rosa, though the role of Goldie and Soapy Slick (which by the way will both return in Italy in a story also written by Panaro) is fairly minor. It is similar to "Of Ducks and Dimes and Destinies", but Panaro said it's just a coincidence since at the time he had only read the original 12 chapters of Lo$ and not the extra chapters. That's interesting, since there seem to be many stories which in one way or another are similar to "ODaDaD", including some that predate it.
The Panaro "vortice del tempo" is good but not great. I mentioned it on another thread, when I was observing with amusement that in a German LTB with three different stories including Goldie, she is called by three different names, the translators of two of the stories having apparently never realized she *was* Goldie...and the editor of the LTB having apparently been asleep.
I have the "filtro del passato" story in another German LTB focusing on Magica, but haven't read that story yet--it is now officially Next On My To-Read List. It's worth it just for the art of the first page, though!
My guess is that I have a better chance rooting for the first three on my list, due to page count....
OH YES! It's apparently supposed to be one of the first meetings of Magica and Scrooge, too. I was so sad to have missed its one French printing.
I don't remember it being one of the first meetings between them, though the story showed a 1-panel flashback of their first encounter, adapted from Barks' "The Midas Touch". Actually, it was a flashforward (courtesy of a crystal ball) which was part of a flashback about Magica before she started chasing the Number One Dime.
printed by IDW. It hasn't even been printed in The Netherlands yet. It HAS been printed in English, in The U.K. in 1993. But British back issues are nigh onto impossible to obtain, because there's NO second hand market there because there's no tradition of Disney Comics there, and only parents buy them for little kids, and no one collects, nor keeps them. So, they aren't sold to antiquarian shops, nor given to charity shops. And it hasn't been printed in Spanish. I'm stuck with reading it in Danish, Norwegian or Swedish. I HATE struggling through German. BAH!
I commented on the "patto della luna" story on the Is Magica a villain? thread. I've also now read the "filtro del passato" story. I liked very much the visual fun occasioned by the potion's effect of changing things to historically earlier versions of themselves. The story won't become a favorite for me personally, though, due to the silly rabbit's foot at the end. That took me out of the story. I don't at all like the "lucky dime" theory. For me, the dime has huge sentimental value for Scrooge, and potential magical value for Magica due to his decades of playing with it. That's it.
But I have another story to add to the list: Korhonen's "Which Is Witch?" I just read it in French, where it was cleverly titled "Misstickfication". Magica and Scrooge switch bodies for a while (no, not the Jensen "Body Swap" story from U$ 366!), and what's really interesting is the way in which each person interacts with the people in the other's life, and how that changes things. On my personal favorites list, it would probably beat out the Korhonen/Vicar "Like a Bad Penny"--though the latter might be a better story for newer or younger readers. "Which Is Witch?" is most gratifying to a longtime fan who knows both characters quite well. I also loved the panel where Scrooge-in-Magica's-body kicks off the uncomfortable high heels!
