I read this story back in the 70s in a Greek reprint edition, so the original could have been published in any of the disney-publishing countries in 60s or 70s, I suppose. Cannot find any reference to it online, so posting this question on the board, hopefully one of you will know, the story goes (very) roughly like this:
Lots of oil spills by tankers in the various oceans and it turns out lots of that gets, somehow, to the north(?) pole, where it is frozen. Scrooge/Donald/nephews start a venture to "mine" that frozen oil with a ship. At some point they become stranded somewhere cold and they have to get some of the iced oil blocks they extracted and "burn" them so they don't freeze to death. (have no recollection how the story ends)

Does the above ring a bell with anybody?
Thanks,

It's Zio Paperone e la raffineria galleggiante (1974) by Giorgio Pezzin & Giorgio Cavazzano. It was first published in Greece in two parts in Μίκυ Μάους 747 & 748 way back in October 1980. I still have both issues. It was published again in 1995 in Μίκυ Μάους 1523 & 1524. I won't spoil the ending just in case you want to find the story and read it again, I'll only tell you that it ends with Rockerduck eating his hat! Welcome to the forum btw!
Wow, amazing, thank you!! Was afraid these would be older issues, but 1980 is not that bad, I just looked and spotted copies for sale online for reasonable prices.
