I've read a story, Donald & Donald, where Donald is forced to spend some time with a clone of himself. Because he is unbearable, he has a nightmare, and a ghost pig wearing a "nightmare" name tag is taking him to see his clone causing trouble.
Nightmare ghost pig: "Follow me... don't be scared! Heh! Heh!" Donald: "No! I don't want to!"
The "nightmare"'s design came out as kinda weird to me... why did they even need to have this guy show up?
In this story, an Inca civilization decides to gather all the greed of their people inside a bottle, before leaving for space. Uncle Scrooge, looking for the Inca's treasure, accidentally breaks the bottle and it unleashes the greed... that takes the shape of a ghostly pig, VERY similar to the "nightmare pig" !
I am wondering why those two designs just happen to be so similar... Is it just a coincidence? Are they based on an older pre-existing Disney character? Was Julian Jordan simply inspired by what Alberto Lavoradori drew?

I wouldn't necessarily call it inspiration, more likely perhaps a lack of time to come up with something by himself. Those Spanish artists are infamous for being copycats. Think of Ibanez who borrowed a lot from Franquin. In Germany we had the comic series Fix & Foxi, all the Spanish artists of which copied a certain Massimo Fecchi. Like that man they've all been doing Disney comics later on: González, Fernández, Miguel, Joaquín, Grangel, Pérez...... and: Julian Jordan!

Yeah I noticed some copying, but there are some excellent spannish artists with recognizable style, like Jose Antonio Gonzalez, Jordi Alfonso, Maximino, Santiago Barreira (sometimes he copies his own panels).
