By the way...in the German version, Magica calls Granny De Spell "Aunt Caroline" while in the French version she calls her "Grandma Caroline". In the American version of Pantarba, she is Magica's grandmother. I assume that's the case in the Italian? And why did the German translation turn her into Magica's aunt? (Of course, then she could be Minima's grandmother, rather than her great-grandmother.)
Well, could be related to the debate of Magica's age, I suppose. For the people who assume Magica is 40 years old or more (I've seen people who argued she was about as old as Scrooge himself), a relatively-healthy grandmother does look a bit strange.

I think that the discussion on Magica's age does not really apply to these 'Magica's family' stories by Artibani&Arena, since in one of them (the second?) I remember that the characters themselves state to have hundreds of years. Of course, I may remember wrong...
EDIT: Or at least, the Granma' said something like that...
Scrogerello: I just tried to look at your Magica family tree to see what the relationships are there, and wasn't able to access it anymore.
Hmm, that's odd; the images I posted aren't displayed on the forum anymore, for some reason...I've tried updating the link in the "Streghella" thread, so if I'm not mistaken it's there now.
But anyway, I placed Caraldina on the tree as Magica's grandmother, as she was in the Italian version (and now the English, version, as well).
Yes, she's "nonna" = grandma in the Italian original, as she is in our American version. Gee, Granny De Spell's relation to Magica sure got overhauled in other languages. Gosh, and I thought we yankees just bastardized those stories.
I know you keep trying to rope into further discussions on localisation, but I'll point out that this isn't really an argument in your favour- I'm pretty sure in the thread you so hated, me and other specifically also pointed to German localisation as something that wasn't ideal
Regardless, in the same way I hope we can put the overall passive-aggressive sniping at localisation behind us, I also suggest you move on from sniping at those who prefer more straight translating.
No thanks, I too would rather put it behind....[added for clarification, sorry] Would rather put that time and energy directly into working with Artibani, who's loving what we're doing!

For Mickey and Donald Christmas Parade #3, does anyone know if that Branca bears cover is Cover A or B? Also, is the other cover available to view anywhere, as well as the alternate Uncle Scrooge cover? (I really wish they'd let you view all the covers when you're pre-ordering issues.)
PreviewsWorld currently has the covers shown for Christmas Parade and Uncle Scrooge as cover A with cover B being a "Image coming soon" placeholder. We probably won't be seeing the other covers until closer to release.
I can see where not knowing what the covers are going to be can be frustrating for people who preorder their issues. There are other IDW comics that have this problem besides the Disney ones. My guess is that the cover art isn't finalized yet at the time the solicits go out.

Among the books I pre-order, I've only ever had to face this problem with the IDW Disney line. To add to the frustration, for Christmas Parade PreviewsWorld is showing us a cover with bears that looks like it's drawn by Branca and calling it "Cover A-Freccero", and has an "Image coming Soon" placeholder for "Cover B-Branca". There's clearly a mistake, but is it in the labeling of the covers or their depiction on the website? I want the Branca cover, so should I pre-order Cover A assuming they've just mislabeled it, or Cover B which I can't even see assuming the labeling is correct?
