I´m desperatly trying to find 1 ed of vol 21 and vol 18... hopefully someday...
Have you tried eBay for the older editions? I was able to get a first printing, copy of Christmas In Duckburg which included the Flying Farm Hand. And the latest printing of Under the Polar Ice is completely uncensored.
Is the second edition of "Under the polar ice" the uncensored one? I've tried eBay but no luck yet for vol 18.

. Yes, second edition is the one. As far as volume 18, I tried messaging some sellers as to which printing they had. Most couldn’t tell me as they didn’t have the book yet (which means I would have likely received the new w/out Flying Farm Hand).
Finally found a used copy on eBay thru Goodwill, it said used so I figured on it being old, it was. Maybe try to see if any thrift stores on eBay carry the volume? There would at least be a much higher chance.

anyone know if there was anything cut/edited/censored from the Cave of Ali Baba volume that was just released?
*Sigh* There is a negative depictions warning, so I don’t think the stories have changes. However, this cover is not in the book despite being listed in the back ‘Where these stories first appeared’. Funny thing is is that this cover was among the giant posters that Gladstone advertised and sold through their first run of comics. inducks.org/story.php?c=W+US+++39-00

This is now officially The Incomplete Carl Barks Disney Library...
is Million-Dollar Shower listed in the where did these stories first appear contents or contents page in front of book? I’m wondering if these were last minute changes

why would Million Dollar Shower be in Cave of Ali Baba volume of CBDL?
Million Dollar Shower debuted in 1965 in WDCS 297 but was created January 15, 1962
while this latest volume of CBDL only fetures material from US 37-40 +One Shots #1184 Gyro Gearloose + One Shots #1267 Gyro Gearloose + WDCS 262
has Fantagraphics always selected stories for the library based on actual creation date?
[/br]I think you’re right about creation date:
“As noted on the original art, this gag [Million-Dollar Shower] was intended for the back cover of Uncle Scrooge 39, 1962.”
Barrier: MBAC-188 CBL: 04C-656 Type: gag Art: Carl Barks Script: Carl Barks Hero: Uncle Scrooge Submission: 1962, January 15 Publication date: 1965, June Issue: Walt Disney Comics & Stories 297, Vol. 25, No. 9 Pages: 1Intended issue: Uncle Scrooge 39. now when looking in "Where did these duck stories first appear?" from CBDL 28, the Million Dollar Shower is listed on that page, so either it was intended to be in vol 28 - but censored - or - moved to a future volume due to original first publishing date
Ramapith may clear this conundrum out for us if he pleases
No, we're not doing linking to outrage youtubers here, especially ones that make their money from getting people to go scream at scapegoats.
KKM has removed the video I originally included due to ...
so I am here inserting a news article regarding the firing of the Disney equity and inclusion officer so members may know what has happened to that role and the person who employed it , text:
This is now officially The Incomplete Carl Barks Disney Library...
Where exactly is that pictured text from?
I think it is from the page(the one with print info etc.) just after the title page in CDBL 28.
So now we know there was censoring, once again.
so native headgear is racist I guess? or is it natives dancing? or both? however in Buffaloed by Buffaloes feature in the very same volume, native headgear(traditional Kasa hats are worn by native characters(in an other part of the world) of this story without censoring) is present, so I can't tell of any logic...

You think or you know? Where did you get the picture from?
I would find it very strange if that text is actually printed in a Fantagraphics CBL volume. When "The Flying Farm Hand" was removed from the second printing of "Christmas in Duckburg", nothing about it was mentioned in the indicia. That's how Disney operates with the comics stories they blacklist; they don't want to call attention to them.
