I think it is from the page(the one with print info etc.) just after the title page in CDBL 28.
So now we know there was censoring, once again.
You think or you know? Where did you get the picture from?
I would find it very strange if that text is actually printed in a Fantagraphics CBL volume. When "The Flying Farm Hand" was removed from the second printing of "Christmas in Duckburg", nothing about it was mentioned in the indicia. That's how Disney operates with the comics stories they blacklist; they don't want to call attention to them.
it is not I who who posted the picture, but when I look i my copy of volume 28 it appears identical to what's in the volume's indicia, therefore my conclusion, but where the image posted is from it's poster has to answer to
edit:
if you use the ''look inside'' feature at amazon for the volume you may have a look at the text in the indicia(mid-page) where it can be seen

Thanks for the link. Sorry I had to ask about this, it's just that it's contrary to everything we've seen in the prior CBL volumes with censorings. In those books, nothing is mentioned about the specific material that was excluded or modified. It seems Disney's policies about this are changing by the minute.

To be straight and tell the truth is always good, maybe we will see Disney starting to walk on the way of the truth soon! Now they tell what they hide, tomorrow they no longer hide original cultural art?
I recommend that anybody that has the opportunity to write an amazon review of this installment of cbdl (volume 28), do point out the ridiculousness of the censoring applied to this book AND how it destroys the promise to readers and collectors of a COMPLETE Carl Barks reprint library without any excuse and reason.

It is really sooo funny. You have the text: "Story X and Story x are missing" and two lines below "This is Volume 28 of the Complete Barks Library"
I can't buy these books anymore. Especially since they are not able to release the box sets of already existing books. They could be up to date with everything. But they are two times two books behind.

so native headgear is racist I guess? or is it natives dancing? or both? however in Buffaloed by Buffaloes feature in the very same volume, native headgear(traditional Kasa hats are worn by native characters(in an other part of the world) of this story without censoring) is present, so I can't tell of any logic...
Million-Dollar Shower was reprinted in Germany last year, so this is definitely a very recent ban. Clearly Disney is still working their way through their library looking for "unacceptable" stories to bring the banhammer down on, and it just happened to this one at some point between June 2022 and June 2023.
Maybe they just didn't get to Buffaloed by Buffaloes yet?

I really don't get the reason of removing Million-Dollar Shower
could it be the dancing?
the dog noses even though these are applied to characters across the board?

due to the natives calling Scrooge a paleface?
what is the logic here?
No clue, but they've banned Little Hiawatha completely, so they might be extending that ban to every story featuring Indians and this is just one they found before this volume went to print.

perhaps, but would not this move of removing a story with natives be offensive to natives?
here they are featured in a story but due to this fact the story is removed and hidden away - sort of a gatekeeping against natives being part of disney comics?

I think they care less about not offending people as they do about not publishing anything that can get posted on Twitter and complained loudly about.

I wonder where all the billionaires that feel scrooge is a bad depiction of their personas are, I have never seen them on twitter - maybe they have become billionaires because they don't complain about such matters?

Really? Yet another Disney character that got a lot of stories here in Holland over the years. Disney is getting ridiculous in their censoring. Good thing they kicked the manager out who did this.

How exactly do we know that specific manager made that decision?
For that matter, we can't know if her leaving the company will have any effect whatsoever on the blacklisted comics.

the lady who was fired may not have made the evaluation of the comics first hand, but she must have green-lit the action since she was the "head" of this "diversity" operation, and therefore the main responsible - one could argue that each employee should have full responsibility of what he or she does but in a corporate setting things are not done that way
the fact that she was fired can be a sign of her way of doing the job has failed to succeed - and now another way of handling matters will be necessary - I hope that the comics will be rid of any censorship that have been applied - so a complete carl barks disney library will see the day, that the don rosa library may continue to be fully in print without missig parts, and not to forget - a collection of complete brer rabbit comic strips, the one that should have come out a few years ago that was visible at amazon
