This is driving me nuts since I feel I even read this recently, but try as I might, I can't find it on Inducks. I remember it so vividly I'll even tell the whole story:
I read it from a Brazillian reprint. The art was Italian, I'm pretty sure- I might even say Cavazzano but might've been Vita, dunno.
The story was that Scrooge McDuck felt inferior to Rockerduck since Rockerduck's exhibit hall on the Duckburg museum was attracting more people. He's then contacted by a group of people from a small South American country, who have a proposition for him- an entire old Pirate ship, the Florindo Duridan (or something similar, don't recall specific name), for his Museum, for free, so long as he pays the cost of bringing it over himself. Scrooge, Donald, and the nephews go over.
In the ship, Scrooge's enthused on his new purchase, while the nephews notice that the old pirate ship has, for some reason, new life preservers, and that the country the ship is in is in a state of total ruination. As they leave, the nephews also notice everyone on land celebrating.
Eventually bad luck chases the ducks, storms, etc, as the nephews end up discovering the ship they're in is not the Florindo Duridan, which was a name the Guidebook didn't have registered, but the Flying Dutchman, with the people of the South African country painting over any instance of the name on the ship to fool Scrooge. They also discover the loaded dice that the captain of the ship had used ages ago to trick the devil into letting not taking his soul.
In the end, through so many misadventures, the ship is totally wrecked, but Scrooge ends up still making bank by having the dice on display on the museum.
Anyone know this story?
