But to be able to view the pages you have to have an American or British IP-address. So even if you can view the main www.comixology.com and www.comixology.co.uk pages, you won't be able to view these two publishers or search up any of the comics from a computer in Denmark. And unfortunately, they are not added to the www.comixology.eu site (you probably get a pop-up message trying to redirect to that one if you try to view the American or British versions)
A way to circumvent this just to check if the pages really are there is to use Google's cache feature:
Yes,but how can i read it? I can only add to cart, not read.
EDIT: It seems that your Amazon account has to be American/British to read the stories. If not,the items get removed as soon as you are logged in your account.
In addition to IP restrictions, there is also restrictions on the payment options. I'm unable to use my VISA card on the American comiXology as it's registered in Europe. I've tried both adding it directly and using my Amazon account without luck. Some years ago, I used my PayPal with the American comiXology, but after the Amazon merge this doesn't work anymore. But PayPal works with the British comiXology, also using a VISA card through PayPal.
So here's how I do it to buy Disney comics on comiXology:
- first I use a VPN-service to change my IP to a British one. I have a payed one (use it for a lot of other stuff too) where I can choose from different locations around the world - but you might be able to use some free ones too.
- Then I have my PayPal account added to the comiXology account.
- When I purchase something from the British comiXology I pay using PayPal
This works fine for me. And after I have bought a comic it doesn't matter if I log into the .com .co.uk or .eu site to read it.
I would like to add fantagraphics life and times of scrooge mcduck the hardcover release earlier this year, can anyone here do that? the exact title is: The Complete Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck
