As there was no existing thread fot the DRL I opened this one to point out a mistake I found in Vol. 7.
In the Table of Contents it says that "Gyro's Beagletrap" was first published in Die tollsten Geschichten von Donald Duck Sonderheft #241. This is however not the case as Jano Rohleder, German editor of Don Rosa points out in Disney(')s Hall of Fame #16:
""Gyro's Beagletrap" was one of the most wanted stories by artist Don Rosa. This is because until 2007 the story was never published in a Disney publication. It wasn't published at all, except for one time: in the October edition 1995 of the German Lyfestyle magazine "Tempo", which was printed from 1986 until 1996 and evtually got a special edition in December of 2006. In the months before the publication of "Gyro's Beagletrap" other European comic book artists had appearances with one-pagers in "Tempo" and the German branch of Egmont, Ehapa, arranged a special Disney story by Don Rosa for mentioned magazine - surely not without the thought in the back of their minds to promote the newly released Rosa album-series. All Tempo-comics had one thing in common - they all should incorporate in one way or another the logo of "Tempo". [...] With that in mind, the gag in "Gyro's Beagletrap" is obvious now, as the outline of the beagle boy in the last panel looks exactly as "Tempo"'s logo. In 2007, twelve years after the first publication of this story, the story appeared in "Donald Duck Sonderheft # 241". As the original inked version couldn't be found, we made a new printing pattern, which was based on a scan of the Tempo magazine. Because of that, many readers in other countries could also enjoy this story, unfortunately always without the background story of how this came to be, so the gag of "Gyro's Beagletrap" is unknown to many foreign readers."
This is BTW the cover of before mentioned magazine. You can see the logo on the upper left half of the picture.
