Aware of any stories (apart from thesetwo) in which slavery is a topic? I seem to remember something about a railroad. (And yes, we all know how Scrooge treat his employees. However, that's not what I'm interrested in.)
Most Italian stories where Donald works for Scrooge might qualify...
Did you even read gadgetphile's post? He specifically said: And yes, we all know how Scrooge treat his employees. However, that's not what I'm interrested in.
Well, there's always the Gottfredson Mickey Mouse The Pirate Submarine.
There must be more Gottfredson/Walsh and also stuff by Cimino that features slaving people, but I can't think of any specific examples off the top of my head.
I wonder if there are any Italian or French made stories which takes place in 19th century USA Southern States with slaves? Certainly no American produced stories deals with that topic? Is Uncle Remus ex-slave? Slavery of ancient times is more suitable in Disney comics, I guess (like in Persia story).
EDIT: In early Gottfredson story The Great Orphange Robbery Mickey and his gang plays dramatic adaptation of Uncle Tom's Cabin, an anti-slavery story by Harriet Beecher Stowe.

Uncle Remus was probably still a slave when he started telling his stories, according to Joe Chandler Harris' setting in his book published in 1881. I think he intended that people assume that he continued to tell those stories after he became free in 1863, or 1864.
There's the Martina/Carpi parody of Gone With the Wind, Paperino e il vento del Sud-- I think I have it somewhere in some language, but I haven't read it yet, and I don't know how/if it deals with slavery. I'm a bit scared to find out!

Be not scared. It's excellent. One of the best Disney comics I've ever read
There are several of the Zapotec/Marlin time travel stories which involve slavery of some sort, if I remember correctly. It used to be completely normal in ancient times...
