Mickey Mystere and Orobomis, the city that walked away is a new story by Casty coming in Topolino #3250. I took an intrview from Casty and you can read here in my site. It is in greek but you can read it in English using google translate. It has some intresting things for other stories coming other than Orobomis. Hope you like it
this, by the way, continues the trend of parodies based on classic Italian(Bonelli) characters. Before we got: Cicco Never(Gus Goose as Nathan Never), Bum Willer(Bum Bum Ghigno as Tex Willer) and Dylan Top(Mickey as Dylan Dog)
" In the future, however, I would like to get to the closure of the Atlantis cycle with Clara Lofth and also to dedicate myself to Ritsa Peskandritsa, for which I already have several nice new stories in the drawer."
Clara Loft is Eurasia Tost, but who is Ritsa Peskandritsa?

Of course, Estrella, who else, I would also like this. I thought they will finish atlantis saga with the latest story, for me it is getting to be kind of a drag, even though latest story was amazing, like a movie, and the art was magnificent, colors, shadows, everything, really great work but I wish they move on to other adventures with Eurasia, like the first three, they were self contained and lots of fun ( yes, its all part of a saga but still, they feel like standalone stories)

I sort of agree - somehow I fear Casty is making Eurasia too one-dimensional by narrowing her interest down to the Atlantis complex. Even her personality seemed less defined in "Dark Mines of the Phantom Metal" (I haven't read the most recent one yet).

All right, just because I love you guys, let me give some context here for non-Italians. These 'Disney parodies' of popular Bonelli's comics characters are actually more a 'collaboration' than what you may believe.
1) Corrado Mastantuono, who did the Tex Willer parody using his own Disney creation Bum Bum, is actually an artist for that series (which has been around in Europe since 1948). Here is a panel of his taken on Tex:
(Faraci is a writer for Tex too since many years, and I guess Artibani may also have done some of it, but I am not sure.)
2) the parody of Dylan Dog was written by Faraci together with Roberto Recchoni, an influential Italian comics writer nowadays editor-in-chief of Dylan Dog.
3) Martine Mystère is clearly a direct influence on Casty's Mickey Mouse: it's basically the same kind of exotic/popular science fiction. Also, the creator of Martine Mystère, Alfredo Castelli is an expert of comics in general and a great fan of Mickey Mouse in particular. In the late 60's he created one of the first Italian fanzines on comics, and being in contact with some American comics fans, he was the first to make public in Italy the names of Floyd Gottfredson and Carl Barks, if I am not mistaken.

Casty said that its a saga not just a three part story. Its a series of stories and at the end they will find Atlantis.

I thought the same but its been years since I have read the story and I almost forgot the character.
I'm very happy to hear that Casty has several more Estrella Marina stories "in the drawer"--I like that character a *lot*. There are two Casty stories published with her so far, plus one by another author.
Also the "Michel" that Google Translate gives is the character Miklos. In greek the name is exactly the same but google translate doesn't recongnize it I guess...
