"Set during the events of Disney/PIXAR's The Incredibles 2" actually sounds like an interesting concept. The Dark Horse comic will be on sale two days before the American premiere of the movie, but to avoid spoilers it might be best to wait until after you have seen the movie to read it.

Say what you will about some of the changes, you gotta love DuckTales 2017 constantly doing this sort of neat obscure reference. This was always a favorite Barks painting of mine, so yay!

I would love DuckTales cover A if it just showed the topiary $crooge head and the boys. I think the other two characters just detract from the design. The concept of a topiary $crooge is awesome, though.

DuckTales looks like it'll be a fun one. Sometimes I think I like the covers better than the stories. I'd love to see them ditch the two stories concept and do full 20-page issues, though. They'd have more room to do an adventure worthy of that B cover that way (although the TV DuckTales isn't always so much about adventures either.).

Agreed!! Assuming their writers could sustain a longer story. I would have loved a 20-pager with Scrooge, Donald and Della, with space for an atmospheric adventure story with more mystery and mytho-historical background. Especially since the two 10-pagers in those Della issues (as in a couple of others) were too similar, so the second actually diminished the effect of the first.

But as you say, the TV DuckTales doesn't often take its adventures seriously, either. Gotta keep that ironic distance to be cool!
