Though our Romano Scarpa Library is delayed, France has now received Donald's Happiest Adventures, the follow-up to Mickey's Craziest Adventures. It's somewhat less avant-gardist than the previous book, as the "lost pages" thing is sadly dropped, but it's still a fun story. On the minus side, its characterization of Scrooge is somewhat flat… but on the plus side, Donald teams up with Ludwig von Drake and Dr Einmung, we get to see what Brutopia actually is like (and it's everything you'd expect based on Barks's Cold Bargain, eighteen sinks in the whole land'n all), we finally learn how Peg-Leg Pete keeps breaking out of jail, and a lot of other fun stuff.
