As you know, Walt Disney's Comics and Stories used to feature actual written stories along with comics. These were not, as a rule, particularly good. However, on occasion, I find a few funny, well-written, or interesting ones. If you know of any good 'Stories' of this sort, post them here!
A few of my own: I find this story rather funny, due to the "hip" burglar and his use of then-current slang, coupled with the fact that Grandma Duck knocks him out with an iron skillet This story is rather interesting, because, although the text refers to Daisy and her aunt (who would, presumably, be a duck), the illustration shows Minnie and a mouse aunt! As a bonus: this story was not published in WDC&S, but a book of stories such as this. It's mildly hilarious, due to the completely out-of-character speed demon Mickey, Morty and Ferdie calling him a "GEN-U-INE maniac", M&F making a plan to make Mickey think he's run down Goofy and then actually making him go into the road (where he would likely actually be run over), and Scrooge chasing Goofy and Goofy chasing M&F at over 100 miles per hour.
Maybe it would be nice to draw these stories up? Maybe I can use them as a basis for an expanded new story? I will think about that, perhaps with a minor change of characters, so there will not be the blending of The Mickey and Donald Universes.

Yes, that might be a good idea, at least for the "Mickey's Hotrod" story, which I think would work as a comic.

Goofy's Halloween (WDC&S #38) is a kid's story to be sure, but it's entertaining. It features the unusual Goofy/José Carioca dynamic and brings back Miss Bovina, Clarabelle's aunt from a single comic strip published years before it.
