I'm also surprised that this - a story by Pezzin and Scarpa, it doesn't get much better than that - has not been properly reprinted in German!
I'm not that surprised. I have started to collect the Topolinos from the 1990s and the amount of forgotten gems is really staggering. Even major sagas (like Il papero del mistero) have never been translated. I guess non-italian publications could not keep up with an unusual combination of quality and productivity with easily two solid stories per week.
Second story was Donald creating a chemical formula that made everything good? Or at least something that everyone loved. But in the end when he had to replicate it he didn't note the dosing of ingredients...
If it ring something for someone, I'll be thrilled because it seems lost in time and can't find them on Inducks...

Another long shot, but I'm trying to find a key or reference to all the gods that appear in Disney's Hercules. What I've been able to dig up online doesn't quite cover it, some of them only appear in group shots in a couple of frames. If anyone could point me in vaguely in the right direction toward an answer, I would be very grateful. I follow some animation research blogs, but I don't feel like bothering people for an arcane question like this.
This memory just popped on my head a couple of weeks ago and i have been trying to find the story ever since
I remember i read it back in 2011 when i was 8 years old (4 years before i actually got into Disney comics). Mickey was the protagonist, and there were dinosaurs. I'm not sure if the dinosaurs were transported from the past to the present or if Mickey and the others were transported to the past, but the second option is more likely
I also remember that Pete asked Mickey to help him save Trudy from the dinosaurs.
Judging by the vague memory i have from the drawing style, i'd say it's an italian story or at the very least an european one

Huh, let's see...This story has Mickey, Pete, Trudy, dinosaurs, it is italian and it was published here in Brazil in 2010, one year before i read it. It seems to be the story i was looking for. Of course i'll only be sure when i get my hands on another copy of it, but i'm 99% sure that's the one

This story would be great in another Casty volume in the Disney Masters series!
...although personally, I'd prefer to get Casty stories not yet printed in English (or maybe not even in Scandinavia!) in the Disney Masters series. I already have the Boom Kids paperback of "Quandomai Island".
OK - this one has been driving me crazy for 20 years or more. Back in the late 80s in Australia I recall reading a Scrooge comic where he finds what he thinks is a giant gold nugget in ice. They start chipping away at it and find it's either no bigger than a kernel of corn, or that it actually IS a kernel of corn (can't recall exactly).
Other elements that I think are in the story but could be red herrings: Gyro Gearloose created a gold detector which was used to find this nugget. Magica DeSpell trying to steal it off them. Gold nugget is on the moon or on another planet?!?
Whilst I read this in the late 80s, it may have been an older comic given to me by a relative. Tried INDUCKS but no luck... here's hoping!
It is W DD 101-02, The Incredible Golden Iceberg. Found by searching in Inducks for stories featuring Magica, Gyro and Scrooge, published in Australia with the first publication date in general being before 1990.

Superstar.... that's it!!! I must be a dud at Inducks - thought I tried that?!?
Say, I am looking for a comic where Gyro is hosting an inventor convention. However, the inventors have crazy flawed inventions. One inventor has a switch that makes a car disappear... but he is unable to make the car reappear. And it happens to be the mayor's car. Another inventor (who looks like an anthro turtle) has a chemical tube that is supposed to solve the water problem. It creates fumes that make bodies of water burst, but unfortunately, it makes fire hydrants in the city explode and create a flood. That comic was published in the early 90s French "Journal de Mickey". If you can help, thank you!

(I entered the following into the search box - story; more than two pages; Gyro and pig mayor as characters; released in France; released in JM between 1989 and 1999.)

Yes, that's it! I recognize the characters that oddly get their own entry despite only appearing in this story...
Like Prof. Traquitandas that I distinctly remember as "Professeur Hippolo" in the French localization.
Thank you very much, Spectrus!
