Well they directly called the character "Dijon" in the panel where they presented all the designs... However the pronunciation was diffrent then in the "Treasure of the lost lamp" movie and the old show (00:20) :
At first when they used the name I asume it's some type of abbreviation and he will use his full name at some point in the episode.
For quick resarch I did "Dijon" is a name of French orgin as well also name of a French city and a type of mustard... Maybe they simply wanted an Arabic name for the sake o being PC?
Speaking of Angones, he just posted this screengrab on twitter and mentiones that episode will feature Lin-Manuel Miranda as "Sheriff Marshall Cabrera" (who I can asume is Fenton's ancestor)

I like how Rockerduck looks in this image.
How on Earth does he fit webbed feet into a pair of tiny boots like that?!

You might ask the same of his comic counterpart.
It's worse for 2017-Rockerduck, of course, but I have always wondered even then. The only plausible option (other than Gyro Gearloose having marketed TARDIS-shoes) looks extremely unpleasant.

Okay, thoughts on Treasure of the Lost Lamp: not fond of the "heroes put on a paper-thin charade, the target of which keeps buying it, despite close call after close call" trope, so not a fan of this episode. I do like the return of Duckworth, the way they did Mr D'jinn, and the other ways this referred back to the original movie, though.
Not sure what's up with Doofus. He's supposed to be creepy, not super-skilled, so why is he suddenly a theremin composer and impossibly agile rollerblader, of all things?
Another great moment in the soundtrack with the battle with the Beagle Boys. I think Ma Beagle comes off better here than she has in any other episode thus far, by the way.

I can only imagine that him being over-the-top skilled in rollerblader was ment to be part of him being disturbing (he talk while doing these things without thinking) and some people find theremin 'creepy" since it's sound's like howling or moaning to some.
As I mentioned, unilke his debut episode I didn't find jokes about him being errie here that aumuing. Felt like that was one-time joke.

Re: "Treasure of the Found Lamp!", I agree that the Duckworth/Gladstone/Doofus appearances felt rushed and forced, as did the appearances of Ithaquack and Selene; overall, it felt like the writers wanted to cram in as many references to old episodes as they possibly could, even though they didn't quite work well. I was surprised they didn't have Fethry take possession of the lamp for a little while while they were at it. And what was the point of having Duckworth briefly don his frightening monster getup, if not to reference an earlier episode purely for fanservice purposes? I also agree that Gladstone's bizarre self-referencing song was out-of-place for both his comics and DuckTales '17 iterations (and, come on, writers, "Uncle" Gladstone? After you got it right last time?). There were some humorous moments ("To see time fly" was inexplicably amusing), though none of them were laugh-out-loud funny in the nature of some earlier episodes. Still, a fun filler episode overall, and Scrooge's exasperation with the apparent meaninglessness of the whole lamp-seeking endeavor was well-realized and well-animated.
I realy like the episode and I think most people who don't mind the DuckTales2017 version of Goldie will enjoy it, since it's mostly Scrooge/Goldie story with a Wild, Wild West vibe.
A fun, little adventure, a lot of funny moments (I especialy like all the Scrooge/Louie stuff... I think it's the first time the Ottamn Empire thing made me laugh out loud), I like all the old-timey-talk and Goldie's song.
Few nice homages (Goldie calls Scrooge "The Buckaroo of the Badlands", the Time-tub from the old show makes apperance)
John Rockerduck felt Ok for his first apperance, and I guess the last since You can tell the show is using him as a one-time villain. He has more class then Glomgold (at least He dosen't have any over the top braging about how sinister he is with maniacal laughter) and is presented a spoiled bourgeois which fits the character as well the way he is trying to cover his crocket deals with good publicity. I like the little fight he and Scrooge get into.
And NO... He dosen't eat his hat at any point ( DAMN IT DUCK TALES YOU HAD ONE JOB!) but Scrooge destroyes it at one point so I guess that's count.
What I found distracting that his goon - who's a parody of Jaws from the James Bond movies - is named Jeeves - which I don't mind but then they had a waiter character who looks exactly like Jeeves from the comics... Huh?
I did like the way the put Gyro into the story which was a funny idea and that Fenton's ancestor didn't sound exactly like him.
(and, come on, writers, "Uncle" Gladstone? After you got it right last time?)
To be fair, it would be strange if they would change it now after they spent entire episode calling him Uncle Gladstone, even if Fethry is just their cousin.

...or any of the female Ducks who wear heels! Which used to include even poor April, May & June. And even the female Ducks with more sensible shoes. I've long viewed this as an (unintended) exaggeration of what actually happens to many contemporary women's feet by being scrunched into shoes with high heels and narrow toes. I myself almost always wear "sensible" shoes, flat heels, wide enough toes, but those are considered unsexy and unattractive, unless everyone's wearing athletic footwear. I find that many men are unaware of women's foot discomfort, since they take for granted that one's shoes should fit relatively comfortably.
Speaking of athletic footwear...it's possible that the first female Duck depicted with shoes sized generously enough for webbed feet was Gosalyn.

Love the bit of nonsensical metatextuality whenever Louie interrupts the story and it influences what we're seeing on screen
A bit odd to see Goldie (who still feels like River Song, I mean seriously) quoting titles from Rosa stories alongside new ones. But speaking of her, she has more natural chemistry with Scrooge here than she did in Golden Lagoon, and it's nice to hear her sing, though I'm kinda mad that it's not a full-on musical number.
I believe "Jeeves" is an Oddjob caricature, which may have been suggested by Rockerduck's hat association and then gotten lost at some point in development. By the way, a rare outright mistake in the animation: apparently someone didn't get an important memo during the animating process, 'cause Rockerduck's deed to the town (between this and Duckburg apparently having belonged to Grand'pappy Beagle and now belonging to Scrooge, what is it with DT17 and this weird notion that you can just up and buy cities?) is signed “Rocker Duck”.
Gyro's cameo was utterly brilliant, even if it would also have been neat to have Ratchet in there in his place. (Come to think of it, considering how weirdly Gyro-like Ratchet always was, it would have been a neat trick to introduce Ratchet only for it to turn out to have been Gyro's cover story, posing as his own fictional grandfather while in the past to make sure Scrooge doesn't start asking questions once he meets Gyro in the present day.) Considering Louie talks of him as "the inventor", though, it seems Scrooge only mentioned him in those words… Why on Earth doesn't Scrooge recognize Gyro in hindsight?
