Another element this show is missing is any meaningful reference to José and Panchito's Latin American heritages (beyond their use of stock phrases) which was such a major part of the original Three Cabarellos movie. Granted, I don't expect it to be the cornerstone of their identities on LTC, since this isn't a cultural goodwill program like the original movie was. But in the pilot, Panchito isn't even familiar with the term "cabarello"!
I felt Panchito was only confused why they are called that. Not sure about Jose but in Panchito's case they did thrown some references to his haritage here and there - he refrence running of the bulls, they had the (you didn't see it comming) twist of him being "Gallo Loco, the famed luchador wrestler" and of coruse the fact he has such long name with so many spanish names in it. I mean I get why they don't want Panchito to make first impression of being a bunch of jokes about Mexican culture and come of as some sort of stereotype (the dude is already wearing a large sombrero) so I don't mind them playing this aspect down...
...For NOW at least. It would be great if they would had episode set in Brasil and Mexico and focuse on two of them showing knowlage of their culture or even explor their friends and family.
OH! You know what I didn't like? And I get its a personal thing (and for the record same thing annoys me in the new "Duck Tales" with boys attitude toward Scrooge) is the fact April, May and June call Donald by hi first name! It's Unca Donald to you (since boys usualy call Daisy "Aunt Daisy") or Uncle Donald or Mr. Donald/Mr. Duck! I mean... Maybe things are diffrent in Poland then in USA, I don't know but kids calling adults by their first name just feels alien to me.
