Angones has written some more about the new Blot: “Our version of the Blot is a new character that takes bits from the original Mickey nemesis, Shadow Blot from Epic Mickey, and Blot from the original DuckTales. He has a new context, and a new obsession with vengeance against one of our long-standing characters.” Interesting.
He also said that Boyd is still dangerous and that he will make friends with some adult character(s) aside from the Drakes, and that his technology is definitely stolen, but who it was stolen from constitutes a spoiler;
that we will get an explanation for where and how Steelbeak got his titlar steel beak;
that there will be more shadow-magic shenanigans and more psychological conflict between Magica and Lena, but that Magica will remain her depowered comic-esque self;
that we will see the Caballeros again.
There is a "long-term plan" for Negaduck which Disney may or may not "let" them do, which implies something fairly dark, so that'll be interesting to see.
Taurus Bulba will be featured, and Black Heron & Steelbeak will interact quite a bit.
We will see Fergus & Downy again (sorry, those of you who dislike their immortality…).
Scrooge's relationship with his sister is "a spoiler".
The answer to "will a sea monster eat Scrooge's ice cream?" is too.
Gyro's white hair is "not his original hair color". Perhaps he's actually blonde-haired or red-haired like in the comics, but an experiment changed it and/or he thought it didn't look serious enough so he dyed it?
Bradford Buzzard is designed from the ground up as specifically a nemesis for Scrooge, for which reason Glomgold will be somewhat downplayed and Magica will be used more as a villain for Webby & Lena than for Scrooge.
Mark Beaks has a sister who is a Senator (and more successful than him, all told).
Amusing story: much like Mickey, the sneaking-in of Chip'n'Dale & company was sort of a con played on Disney. “Oh, we snuck them into an episode one by one and before anyone noticed it was too late. In the script they’re credited as “Intelligent Mouse” and “Adventurous Chipmunks”.”
This is the teaser summary for the first episode of Season 3: “Lots of young adventurers look up to Scrooge. Who did Scrooge look up to?”. Season 3 as a whole lasts 562 ½ minutes.
Also, he very pointedly said that Morgana Macawber won't be featured "this season", hinting that while not certain, a Season 4 is very much possible.

Yay, Fergus and Downy are back! And hopefully they are bringing other Barks-Rosa characters too.
Judging by the fact the villains seem to have a master plan to use agains the Duck Clan, i don't see how a fourth season could be possible. Which villain could be greater than F.O.W.L. and the Blot?
Also, can you give the source of these informations?

Upping the ante with the villains is what they've been doing so far, but that's not a prerequisite for successfully creating a new season of DuckTales 2017, is it? They could just scale back the villain, or have a story arc not focused on a villain but rather on some sort of impersonal threat.
I would love if Blot had personal vendetta with Donald for some mysterious reason... but knowing how things are they will propably tie him to Della.
I don't mind Magica being more foil for Lena and Webby in this but I wish they would find a way to bring the dime back to the picture... after all the flash-back in "Shadow war" suggests Magica wanted the dime from Scrooge in the first place. Perhaps she needs it to have her powers back... yes, I mention this before but it's the only logical conlusion I see at the moment.
I would love if they would find a way to bring Poe from the oryginal show - after all, the very first episode mentions he is her brother transformed into a Raven (an interesting plot point that got ignored in show itself)
Happy to hear we get more of the Caballeros! Maybe some solo adventure with Donald like in Rosa stories? (One can dream, ey?)
We can only imagine Black Heron and Steelback will have some sort of romantic tension.
I do wonder which of Scrooge sisters they will bring up... Yes, it would be interesting to see Donald's parents but part of me would love to see Matilda way, way more.
They need to bring the "Scrooge icecream" thing! Nation of Hungary will be gretfull, I'm sure.
Know as Maciej Kur, Mr. M., Maik, Maiki, Pan, Pan Miluś and many other names.

It's an intriguing idea, to be sure, but the Von Drake kids certainly don't treat Scrooge like an uncle, and they refer to him as "Mr. McDuck", so unless they don't know their mother's relationship to him, it seems unlikely.
(I was also going to point out how the Von Drake kids were much older than others who would be in their generation, such as Donald and Della, and how they seem closer in age to Scrooge, but this is a show that resorts to life extension and immortality, so who knows where Matilda lies in the timeline.)
Here's a clip from the upcomming season 3 episode Duck Tales episodes "Donald's grand plan to get rich!" that will focus on exploring Donald and Scrooge relationship. Angones clames it will bring the characters to their Barks roots more then ever before. Notice slight updates on the animation...

And i don't know if it's just me, but i think the other daughter has a hair who looks like Matilda's
Someone saked Angones whether the premiere would air up sometime before Christmas, since Santa Claus is confirmed in the next season, and he answered: "Nope. Sorry". Does this mean Season 3 won't start this year?
