Apologies to double-post, but just a quick question; regarding Johann, if anyone has read D 6190, does he tend to have his eyes closed like that in general or is it just his expression in that panel? I know he opens them in another, but as a moment of surprise, it's hard to count it.
In most panels in which he appears his eyes are open. There are two instances that his eyes are closed. In one instance his eyes are closed when he gives something to Scrooge, and in the other instance (the one used for his picture in the tree) he holds a door open.

Perfect, thank you so much!
Working on a little side project at the moment, so information like this is very helpful!

I love hearing about bizarre/obscure Disney works - recommendations welcome!
A quick side note - I've been looking through the tree, and I just wanted to verify something.
Regarding the Goose Family Reunion from House of Mouse, most of the unnamed relatives are on the tree... except I cannot for the life of me see this guy:
Is he absent from the tree or am I just somehow not seeing him? If he is absent, is it just that he was missed or was he excluded?

He is absent because I simply assumed that was Gus Goose.

Ahh, that makes sense - I'd have assumed him to be separate myself, but now that you say it, I could actually see it! He does look slightly different to Gus does typically in House of Mouse (He has the little hairs that poke out from under his chef's hat, and the colour scheme feels slightly different, though that isn't the most concrete of evidence) but the hat and general appearance fit
I'm happy regardless of what's assumed moving forward - that explanation makes perfect sense to me!

Just a quick update; I got my English copy of 'King of the Golden River', and can confirm that Paperdorado's English name is Dondorado
I've also got some decent colour scans of him, if that's any help It's not the highest quality, so if any further scans are necessary I can provide them

It has been some time, but the tree on the website has been updated! The main changes for version 7 are the additions of many relatives from D 2001-168 and from D 2008-090; the addtions of three additional generations (so there are now 18 generations); and some other changes that have been suggested in the latest posts.
Here is the detailed list of changes:
Many, many Ankfält and Mocksson relatives from D 2001-168 were added.
Many relatives of Ian McDuck from D 2008-090 were added. I made them all descendants from the ducks from I AT 299-B. Gnideon Gnidde McDuck was added as a father of the triplet from that story. To make some place for all these relatives, I moved Bucky, Bran and Jack McDuck. They are now descendants of Paperonk.
Paper Bill from I TL 393-C was added as a brother of Downy O’Drake.
Arpagone Paperone and his relatives from I SAP 64-A were added via the French branch of Scrooge’s ancestors. Rockerduck’s unnamed ancestor mentioned in the same story was also added (as the father of Long Rocker).
The ancestors of D 6190 got improved scans. Vermund McWildduck was renamed Vermund von Vildand and he was moved to become Oscar MacGoose’s grandfather.
Picjean is now called Jean Valduck on the tree, and I connected him via the other French ancestors of Scrooge.
Anna-Lina Duck was removed.
Doris from D 6582 was removed.
The “relative” of Scrooge from I TL 1696-B (who is not a relative in the original) was removed. The unnamed great-grandfather of Diamond Dick’s third wife remains on this position.
Duck-Duc from I TL 188-AP was renamed Paperin Parpignac.
Margarida from B 860211 was renamed Marguerite and moved to become an ancestor of Scrooge (also via the French branch).
Paperdorado has been renamed Dondorado.
Rumpus’ mother is now a granddaughter of a sibling of Oscar MacGoose’s wife. Aunt Vera from D 99053 was moved to become an aunt of Rumpus’ mother. Uncle Crankmore from D 99053 was newly added, becoming Vera’s husband.
Changes related to the newly added generations:
Pintail Duck from W US 16-02 was added as the father of John Duck.
Malcolm “Matey” McDuck from W US 16-02 was added as the father of the Duke of Paperburgh.
Ringtail Duck from H 88041 was added as the uncle of Pintail. Ringtail’s three nephews Gruffy, Ruffy and Tuffy, and his uncle Pinchpenny Duck were also added.
Francis Duck from S 76176 was added as the father of Ringtail.
Don De Pato from W DD 103-04 was added as an ancestor of both Scrooge and the Coot family.
Poncey De Loon from W US 32-01 was added as the granduncle of Don De Pato.
Gideon McPaper from I TL 1326-A was added as a ancestor of Danblane. Archibaldo McRocker was added as an ancestor of Rockerduck.
Daglas McScrooge (and his nephew Donald MacDonald and his 3 unnamed nephews) from D 88067 have been added as ancestors of Scrooge. Some scans of these relatives are still needed.
Scrooge’s ancestor with the musket from ZD 60-07-17 was added as the father of Malcolm.
Jacobus Paperus from I TL 1940-C was added as an ancestor of Scrooge, by being the father of Malcolm’s wife.
Dottor Paperus and his three nephews from I TL 188-AP were added as relatives of Jacobus Paperus
Richard Quackett from I TL 3107-1 was added as ancestor of John Quackett.

YEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH LET'S GOOOOOOOO!!!
This is absolutely, unabashedly ridiculous, and it's exactly what I signed up for - I love this so much. Given the addition of the languages section, adding everyone may take some time, but I'll get cracking on it tomorrow - I'll try to get it done soon, but I'll need to be careful to keep everything consistent between trees.
Genuinely though, delighted to see this phenomenal update!

Lovely! Great job! I'll post some better scans of Daglas McDuck's relatives later this week!
As far as the Language scans go, I do need to do a more thorough look - this is just a quick upload to ensure that everything remains consistent
It's a bit of a challenge keeping the main sheet and the Language sheet consistent, and the swatch of unnamed relatives made it somewhat tougher, so I mainly just wanted to get everything up to speed - I'll be ticking away at the finer details in the meantime

The ducks have a ton of ancestors that seem to be basically "pre-incarnations," don't they?
They sure do, and I think it's such a shame.
I remember the first time I realized I owned a story featuring Donald's American Civil War great-grandfather (Humperdink's father). I was so excited to find out what that guy was like... only to realize that, in terms of both personality and design, it was just Donald in 1860s military clothing. The same is true for virtually every Duck ancestor: it's just Donald with a funny hat on. This is also the case with the McDuck ancestors, but with Scrooge instead. Not very interesting from a reader's perspective. Who would have thought that The Good Old Daze was revolutionary in its portrayal of Grandpa Duck as a lazy old man with a fondness for blueberry pie instead of being a 100% Donald-clone?
New relatives! In H 2022-350, Daisy receives an inheritance from her great aunt Amelia Duckhart, the famous pilot. But unbeknownst to her, Amelia's niece Alinda van Duckem (no direct relation to Daisy) is also after the treasure.
I am looking for information on the following Italian stories, as they (probably) contain relatives that are not on the tree yet:
I TL 1910-A (Paperino e la prescoperta dell'America). In the German translation, Don McDuck (a Donald look-a-like) is said to be a direct ancestor of Donald, who lived in 1490. He was a sailor on the fleet of his uncle Dago McDuck (a Scrooge look-a-like). The story also features Gus (a Gladstone look-a-like), who is a cousin of Don McDuck. What are the names of these ancestors in the Italian original?
I TL 2892-5 (Paperino e il tulipano impossibile). I never read this story, but the story has been published in Topostorie 13: the P&P Producers, in which each story has an ancestor of Donald and/or Daisy. This particular story is set in 17th century Netherlands. What are the names of the ancestors, and are there any other relatives in the story? Scans of these ancestors would also be needed.
I TL 2039-2 (Pico e il panettone da favola). I read this story in German, featuring ancestors called Donaldin (a Donald look-a-like), Drachobert (a Scrooge look-a-like) and three nephews (like HDL). It is set in Milan at the end of the 1400s. What are the Italian names of these ancestors?
I MG 464-A (Paperinella e la vera storia della scoperta dell'America). I never read this story, but it is part of the Dai diari delle antenate series, so likely features an ancestor of Daisy. I assume that she is called Paperinella. Are there any other relatives in the story? And does anyone have a scan?
I MG 459-A (Geni in famiglia). There are probably relatives in this story, but I never read it. Does anyone have information about it?
I PM 185-1 (Ludwig Von Paperin). According to the INDUCKS description, the story features an ancestor of Donald. Does anyone have information or scans?
I TL 2064-3 (La pietà di Paperangelo). There might be ancestors of the ducks in this story as well.
I TL 3008-5 (Zio Paperone e la cornamusa dei Mc Paperon). I read the German translation. It features Angus McDuck, who is an old friend of Scrooge, but in the German translation also a member of the McDuck clan. How is his relation to Scrooge in the original version, and what is his name?
